Research-creation doctorate
For its doctoral program, the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Limoges is partnering with the University of Limoges to offer a research-creation PhD. In 2026, ENSAD will select one or two candidates whose projects include a strong ceramics practice and whose research topic falls within one or more of the school's research areas: • Images & Imaginaries • Traditional Gestures / Innovative Gestures • Territories of the Living. Applications must be submitted before June 5th. Contact with the Director of Studies and Research is essential before applying.

Artists' and designers' residence
The École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Limoges offers French and international artists and designers with a professional practice the opportunity to undertake a research and creation residency. The residency provides access to its studios, technical, logistical, and human resources through a formal agreement. Residents will have the opportunity to experiment, design, and develop a research project, create a prototype, or produce a unique piece. Applications are open from March 19 to April 19, 2026.
