Entrance examination

Admission to 1st year:

In 2026, French or foreign candidates, holders of or preparing for a French baccalaureate or a qualification accepted as equivalent, register ONLY via the ParcourSup platform.

– from January 19 to April 1, 2026: registration, formulation, confirmation of wishes and sending of the requested documents on ParcourSup – ONLY for entries into the 1st year of the DNA.

– On Thursday, April 9, candidates will receive a link to the school's "GANESH" platform with a username and password to log in.
After logging in, candidates will have access to the general knowledge test topic.

Candidates MUST submit their answer to the test on the same platform along with their portfolio, in PDF format (20 MB max) before Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 12:00 (noon).

Only candidates who submit the copy and portfolio will receive the invitation for the interview and the visual arts test.

The summons will be sent on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and will specify the day and time at which candidates are expected at Ensad Limoges.

These events will take place over a single day between May 5th and 7th, 2026.

Exemptions:
An internal admissibility committee within the school examines the exceptional files for lack of a baccalaureate and decides whether or not registration for the competition is possible.
French applicants wishing to apply for the first-year entrance exam and submitting an application for an exemption due to not having a baccalaureate should not complete the online application process on Parcoursup. The documents requested on the registration form must be sent by mail or email before Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Admission by equivalence:

Admission by equivalence consists of a remote interview (video). It is aimed at candidates who wish to enter the 2nd or 4th year, art or design.

To register, candidates must log in to the "GANESH" school platform and create their account according to the year in which they wish to be enrolled:

• for entry into the 2nd year of art

• for entry into the 2nd year of design

• for entry into the 4nd year of art

• for entry into the 4nd year of design

The information requested will be:

– for all: cover letter, identity document, passport photo, school certificate from the last school attended, copy of the last diploma obtained, portfolio;

– for foreign candidates: French language proficiency test level B2;

– for admission to the 4th year of art or design: note of intent on the research project + CV.

Candidates will receive an invitation for the interview (lasting 20 to 30 minutes) which will take place via video conference on April 7 and 8, 2026. This will specify the day and time of the interview.

The deadline for submitting applications for entry by equivalence is set for Friday, March 13, 2026 at 23:00 PM.
