Enter school

The general organization of lessons is set by the Ministry of Culture (stopped 16 July 2013).

1/ Admission to first year

Access to the first year is via the Parcoursup platform and for people outside of school directly on the school website with a downloadable form.

To register you must:

  • Baccalaureate (all specialties) or an equivalent diploma
  • A B2 level in French for foreign candidates

The progress of the competition is detailed on ParcourSup. It takes place in 2 phases: a general knowledge subject and sending the portfolio (remotely) and face-to-face on the Ensad Limoges site over one day with a plastic test and an individual interview.

After admission, final registration is validated by the educational secretariat as soon as the administrative file is complete.

2/ Admission during the course

For candidates coming from a French art school approved by the Ministry of Culture, it is carried out after examination of the applications by an equivalence commission, upon interview and presentation of a file of personal work, under subject to obtaining ECTS credits in progress and/or passing exams.

For candidates coming from another course (DNMade, IUT, universities, and art schools and foreign universities), it is carried out within the framework of the local equivalence commission. Foreign students must provide a French level B2 test.

Admission to cycle 2:
3rd year students who wish to move on to the 2nd cycle must register for the equivalence competition session in the same way as students from outside the establishment. The equivalence commission examines the plastics project and the lines of research undertaken by the student for the writing of the DNSEP thesis.
