100% THE EXPO with Charlotte Alves
Each year, La Villette gives carte blanche to a selection of recently graduated artists, including Charlotte Alves, from Ensad Limoges, to take over the Grande Halle with original and committed works.
Designed as a professional springboard, 100% L'EXPO represents for many of these artists a first experience of large-scale group exhibition.
Neither a contemporary art fair nor a thematic exhibition, 100% L'EXPO presents an overview of contemporary practices, where forms, techniques, media and narratives intersect and interact.
The 2026 edition of 100% L'EXPO, expanded for the first time to include any artist who has graduated with a higher national diploma in visual arts in the last five years, brings together around thirty graduates from nineteen French higher art schools out of the forty or so that exist.
Schools represented for the first time in 2026:
Higher School of Art of Aix-en-Provence, European Higher School of Image Angoulême – Poitiers, National Higher School of Art of Bourges, European Higher School of Art of Brittany, Higher School of Art and Design Le Havre-Rouen, National Higher School of Art and Design of Limoges, Higher School of Fine Arts Montpellier Contemporary, National Higher School of Art and Design of Nancy, Higher School of Art and Design Toulon Provence Méditerranée.
Guided tours: Sat & Sun 14:15 pm – 18:15 pm – Departures every 30 minutes – Free, no reservation required
A program of performances and live shows accompanies the exhibition, with two highlights this year: the show Lululululeesh Palestinian artists Marah Haj Hussein and Nur Garabli presented on April 9 and 10 and the big weekend of performances on April 18 and 19.
