"Marriage of Inclination", an exhibition by Jeanne Cardinal

Jeanne Cardinal creates installations, drawings, and sculptures, favoring the reuse of materials and the metamorphosis of forms. She questions our habits, our movements, and our practices by developing narratives that play with the ambiguities of perception.

The installation Marriage of inclinationThe project, initiated in 2024 and presented in its entirety in the Halle des Bouchers space, features juxtapositions of objects, pieces of tableware, and trinkets in transparent boxes with iridescent surfaces. The accompanying pictorial arrangement poetically highlights their formal connection and questions the power of the physical and psychological bonds that unite those who love each other.
