Benjamin Dubreuil

Using his environment as a playground, a place of encounter, and a place of giving, Benjamin explores the theater of the ordinary. It is in constant tension with those around him that he shapes his practice through informal encounters. Carried by the search for the miraculous initiated by Bas Jan Ader, he finds his poetic space in the constant movement from which his interactions emerge. He is interested in everyday life and its gestures, considering that they constitute us and represent a form of writing. With them, he attempts to divert the course of life to make sensitive details often overlooked in rooms where everything is meticulously crafted by him. “Man dreams of living as he wants, but does not always know what he wants.
