Her work considers text as a form capable of producing space. Capucine is interested in how words transcend their function of reading to become elements of construction. Deployed on an architectural scale, the texts redefine the space, alter its perception, and influence how it is traversed.

This research extends to color, drawn from a collection process carried out in various institutions. Displaced within the exhibition space, these hues become traces of absent places. Text and color function as tools of displacement, bringing together multiple spaces and questioning the forms of uniformity inherent in certain institutional contexts.

Through her installations, she explores the notions of dwelling, belonging, and intimacy. Using definitions, fragments of texts, and selected colors, she seeks less to represent a place than to reveal the tensions that run through it: between private and collective space, home and institution, rootedness and displacement.

Her work borrows from the codes of definition, signage, and protocol. Standardized typography, concise phrases, and carefully chosen colors produce an apparent neutrality, suggesting an absence of perspective. Yet, these forms gradually reveal lived experiences, narratives, and emotions.

This tension is reflected in his use of text. In the exhibition space, it takes the form of brief statements, designed to be seen as much as read. The text thus becomes a space of circulation between distance and proximity, between protocol and sensory experience.
