Emmanuelle adopts an approach to design and photography based on the experience of matter and phenomena linked to space and architecture.
With a shy, almost guilty look, she dwells on the details. Reading the book Atmospheres by Peter Zumthor made her aware of her environment and the elements that create unique everyday atmospheres. Raised by her father, who came from the world of entertainment, Emmanuelle was imbued with a form of theatrical magic from a very young age. She sees theater as a factory of atmospheres and draws her first repertoire of effects from it. Fascinated by the atmosphere of each space, she enjoys observing what constructs a place or an object. The small narratives hidden in the details and phenomena related to movement or light constitute the raw material of her creative process. Recently, she has also become interested in phenomenology. Thus, by returning to the things themselves, describing them as they present themselves, she gives a primordial place to sensitivity and intuition, focusing on the imperfection of lived experience, experience, memory, and the memory of each person. Emmanuelle's objects and photographs are distinguished by an elegant simplicity and a subtle play of materials and nuances, or contrasts, highlighting each material and its own characteristics.
