Julie is a human being. A human being is a structure that lives within a larger structure. This larger structure lives within an even larger structure, and so on. Large structures have great power over smaller structures. To coexist, structures must adapt to each other. If the large structure is square, the smaller structure must also be square. If the smaller structure isn't square, it's maladaptive. If the large structure finds that the smaller structure can't seem to be square, then the larger structure will smooth out its rough edges. Because the larger structure needs the smaller structure to survive. Once it has smoothed out its rough edges a little and the smaller structure is well adapted to the larger structure, the larger structure will be ready to talk to the smaller structure and be listened to. This is how the smaller structure will learn that it is necessary to live and also to die. That it is necessary to succeed in life and to have lived well. That it is necessary to have no regrets upon death. That it is necessary to be happy. That we must work hard but also take advantage of all the leisure time we have available. That we must create a home savings plan as soon as possible. That we must buy two baguettes to get the third free. And that we absolutely mustn't miss out on this good deal. Even if we live alone. Because there are promotions on freezers. And that freezers are used to freeze free baguettes.
