My artistic practice consists of ceramics, textile figures, drawings, and performances. These practices come together in joyful installations with saturated colors. Several themes interest me, such as pop culture, questions about consumer society, references to Catholicism, puppet theater, statues from pharaonic temples, medieval gargoyles, feminism, cabaret... A hideous cocktail in which I try to blend the grotesque with the cute thanks to colorful materials, sweetened decorations filled with shiny enamels, satins, feathers, sequins, pearls, and frills. Diversion is central to my practice, humor, and wordplay take place on my textile forms but also on my ceramics. Dubious jokes, unreliable humor, wobbly sculptures, come to question our society, our codes, to disturb perhaps?
