Louis Pruvost

Louis's work is situated within the framework of painting. He questions the relationships with the images that pass through us, seeking out commonplaces often linked to the field of childhood. Leaving room for a kind of subjective narration of the person viewing the work, it is both "the memories of everyone and of people who appear in the paintings." In order to confirm that these images do not only exist "at home," he goes in search of them in the image banks available on the internet, which then serve as documentation and thus confirm their place in a collective imagination.
