Zhuangzhuang Wang

Zhuangzhuang Wang joined Ensad Limoges in his second year after graduating in printmaking from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in China, where he developed a deep mastery of printing techniques such as etching, lithography, woodcut, and screen printing. During his studies, he had the opportunity to explore various disciplines, including large-scale painting, installation, video, poetry, performance, and ceramics.

After a while, he noticed that most of his classmates were turning to ceramics, a medium he initially rejected due to common stereotypes that associate China with porcelain. However, he discovered a way to freely explore porcelain thanks to the importance of ping-pong in his life and his journey in France. His installations and performances around this sport constitute the two artistic forms through which he uses porcelain according to his own vision and in his own way.
