Professionalization
Educational establishments bear a responsibility for the future of their students.
The art and design school trains artists and designers, but more broadly, it provides multiple skills which translate into professional activities that are sometimes mixed and adapted to each profile.
“CulturePro” projects
Three projects received funding from the Ministry of Culture as part of the “CulturePro” system which aims to promote the integration of students and young graduates into the professional world. Each of these systems includes partnerships with cultural structures or businesses.
1/ The “Apocope phygital leather” project has students working around leather in an analog and digital way with the collaboration of professional partners.
In 2023, it will benefit from a second Culture Pro funding.
2/ The ARC (Research and Creation Workshop) “New gestures” is a project on the theme of traditional gestures and innovative gestures which brings together several archive formats and reactivates them with virtual reality and immersive technology in the field of creation in art and design.
3/ Finally, the “Make the presses moan” project plans work around publishing and the promotion of old know-how. The objective is the creation of an editorial object as an extension of the master's theses published at the school.

“After School” Program
The “After School” program, open from the third year of study, aims to provide a better understanding of the world in which graduates will find themselves in a fairly broad way:
understand the structure of the artistic sector, its actors, its challenges. Another facet consists of providing information on the different existing statuses and helping to take the first steps. Preparing a book, knowing how to communicate around your work and setting your price are also part of the objectives.
In addition to group sessions, fifth years are offered a series of individual interviews in order to clarify their projects.
The example of alumni is rich in lessons. An association of former students will soon be created. It will promote networking and mutual aid on French and international territory.
“Help” device
Thanks to its network of cultural partners, Ensad Limoges was able to mobilize nine of them in 2022 to offer a dozen first contracts to new graduates with mixed financing to which the school contributes. In 2023, nineteen partner structures have agreed to participate in the system. This initiative, called “Coup de Pouce”, is renewed every year.
