CCE residence

The CCE research residency "Ceramics as Experience" allows for the development of a high-level project combining practice and technique, know-how and innovation in the fields of art and design applied to contemporary ceramics.

By making its ceramic workshops, technical, logistical and human resources available under an agreement, Ensad Limoges offers the opportunity to experiment, design and produce pieces in an exceptional location dedicated to practice and teaching in art and design.
Located in a region linked to the ceramic arts, the Ensad Limoges opens its specialized ceramics spaces, providing access to all traditional processes as well as digital creation and fabrication equipment (including several
ceramic 3D printers, a high-resolution 3D scanner and a suitable computer environment).
In addition to its own workshops, Ensad relies on partnerships with local companies that have complementary technologies and open up potential developments.

the CCE Residence 2026 will host Tom Boy, designer.

Selected through a call for applications for 2026, designer Tom Garçon will be hosted at Ensad from January to June 2026. During this residency, interaction with students is encouraged, and involvement in the form of a teaching intervention is expected. The residency is supervised by a teaching team led by professors and teaching support technicians.
